Wed 3/5

Thanks for the prayers and encouragement! Erin is doing fine, she had a little nausea last night but is o.k. today. She is getting blood as we blog, then we will hopefully go walking. She walked 2 miles yesterday. Today the PA told her she might get to go home FRIDAY! What? I don't dare to dream that big, but Erin is excited. We will see what God has in mind. Her numbers are still good except for the Hct, which is why she is getting blood. Anyway, all is well and we are still taking it one day at a time. Thanks for all the love!! We love you right back!! janet

Erin,

I would just like to send all of my thoughts and prayers to you and your family. I know that this is an absolutely trying time for all.. but your strength under such dire circumstances is so inspirational, and a true testament to the power of belief in Christ. I hope that everything continues to improve and that you're back among us soon. :)

Prayers will be prayed for Erin's being able to come home on Friday! I can imagine just how excited she is to be able to sleep in her own room and within her own comfort zone!

She is such a strong tower of strength and the Holy Spirit is certainly working within her doctors and PAs! Blessed be His Name!

We will defintely keep those thoughts and prayers coming! He has done such great work in healing Erin -

Blessed Assurance! Praise God!Erin is a definite example of how all things are possible through Him!

Lawrenceville FUMC is so looking forward to the day where we will be blessed to see the face and smile of Erin - without the mask! I am sure Erin is too! God Speed Erin! We miss YOU!

Good Morning Miss Erin:

Getting blood? Did you check the bag to see if it was the blood I donated recently at church? We are the same type. If so, you might want to watch for the side effects. Things like wanting to ride a motorcycle and live in a warmer climate. You may also notice an increase in stomach size. And when your hair returns, it might be gray. And you could have a beard.

You're really scared now, aren't you? If you add two green M&M's every hour to the regular dosage, I think you'll be OK. If not, I'll show you how to properly trim and maintain a beard. :) :)

All My Love and Prayers!

FRIDAY?!?!?! Awesome! I'm so excited (and I just can't hide it)! Keep up the hard work of walking those miles- I know it can be difficult b/c I can't even do it sometimes! Anyways, I love you!

Way to go Girl!
We are so happy to hear that the side effects are not as harsh this time, and pray that your stamina will continue. The thought of coming home is overwhelming, but soooo exciting! Keep minding the doctors and trying to get your walking in.
Thank you for sharing Amanda with us last wkd on the women's retreat. I know she wanted to be with you, but she did such an awesome job with the music, and felt honored to be the "Blonshine" representative to all of us. We miss you lots, and continue to pray for your healing. We read Psalm 145 at the retreat this wkd and I wanted to encourage you to read it too. Say it out loud because it makes claim to all that God is for all of us. Enjoy!
We love you,
The Sykes

Erin,

We are praising the Lord for your promising news of going home as early as Friday! Our God is an awesome God!

I would proceed with caution on the Dr. Moore blood donation...unless of course, you might want to be riding a motorcycle! That might be fun, but I'm not sure how you'd look in a gray beard. Of course, Jesus had a beard didn't he?...so maybe it wouldn't be all that bad...a constant reminder of Him.

Hang in there and we will continue to keep you in our prayers. Thanks for the continual updates, Blonshines!

In Christ,
The Petersons

Hi Ya'll,
So excited about the news...FRIDAY'S A GREAT "GO-HOME DAY"!

We are continuing to pray for MINIMAL SIDE EFFECTS, and that any of your "present troubles be quite small, and not last very long.
May discomforts produce for you, Erin, an immeasurably great glory that will last forever!”

love you,
Hey, Amanda: give Erin's feet a hug for me, too! Susan ~:)
