Tues 3/4

Good Morning!
Erin had a good night, no sleep but no nausea so it's all good. She is currently finishing her breakfast and then we will hopefully go walk. Yesterday she walked her 21 laps in record time. I could barely keep up. All the Drs and PAs keep saying that if her side effects are minimal, she may get to go home next week. We had to hear about 4 people say it before we actually started to believe it. They have made Erin an appt in the clinic for next Tues. Can you stand it?? Home again would be a dream come true. So let's all pray that her side effects are minimal so we can go home. We would have to come to the clinic 2-3 times a week for labs and blood products as needed. They said as long as she can swallow pills and stay away from infection, we can do the rest at home. Wow, thank you Lord. We are blessed and we love sharing all our good news with you!! Thank you for the encouragement and love. Love to you all, janet

Erin,

That is such great news! I am, once again, so proud of you for keeping such a great outlook and doing all those hundreds of laps. I know that has helped! We are thinking of you here at the Ridge! Tennis season has started, so I will keep you updated--Kelly is doing great so far!!

Erin :)

Try to take a look at this Erin as my cousin sent it to me for an early St. Patrick's blessing.

Good Morning Erin:

Sounds like the M&M therapy is working. Instead of the usual dosage, today take 4 red, two blue and two orange M&M's every hour, along with 4 yellow peanut M&M's every other hour. As always, don't swallow them whole and don't try to crush them up to inject them (remember the PA Blessing No Needle Rule). Just chew them up completely and swallow with milk or water.

Looks like our next personal visit could be a house call if you get back there next week. I'm sure you neighbors can't wait...

All Our Love and Prayers!
Dr. Ken and the Blessing-Moore-Butz Team.

"So I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."
-Mark 11:24

"Indeed we call blessed those who showed endurance."
-James 5:11

"We also boast in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured into our hearts."
-Romans 5:3-5

"I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his words I put my hope."
-Psalm 130:5

"I will satisfy the weary, and all who are faint. I will replenish."
-Jeremiah 31:25

"Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love and kindness go on forever."
-1 Chronicles 16:34

"May the Lord bless YOU and keep YOU. May the Lord makes his face to shine down upon YOU and be gracious unto YOU. May the Lord lift up his countenance upon YOU and give YOU peace. Amen"
-Youth benediction

All I could think to do when I read the blog today was find scripture. So that's what I did...I flipped through my handy-dandy daily verse calendar and found all the ones (well, not ALL...but most) I felt relevant to you! You are almost there Erin! The light at the end of the disease ridden tunnel is getting brighter by the day!

Erin!

Praise the Lord! THIS is the day that the Lord has made!

I bet you cannot wait to get into your own bed and home! William and I pray that the side effects will keep to a minimum so that you can get in your true comfort zone!

You have such an amazing amount of strength and endurance, do not let up as its this strength and endurance that will get you home soon! We are all so proud of you!

Thank You again for sharing Amanda this past weekend - she is truly a tower of strength -- it must run in the family! (ha ha ha ha ha)

Blessings and Grace,

I love when things astound us and doctors and we can only shake our heads and say..."that was God!" I took Luke to the doctor last Thursday morning with a runny nose and a 99.8 temp. I NEVER would have taken him in for something so minor, but he had a reccurrance of pink eye and couldn't go to school and I thought I'd go get the "all clear" since I was leaving John at home all weekend with three kids while I went on the Women's Retreat. So, when the PA came in and said, let's go ahead and check for the flu...I laughed! He was fine! Anyway, one swab to the cheek and he tested positive for Influenza B... "the worser of the flu types and should be in the bed with a 103 fever for the next 3 days"! Yikes! I started praying! Well, shows what doctors know (other than Dr. Butz and his team)... Luke's fever never went up and he never acted a bit sick! Thank you God! I'm praying for the Blonshines to all be home next week...sooner than anyone would have thought! Go ahead God... continue to amaze and astound all of us!!!
Lots of love,
Kristie
