Fri 3/14

Hey, we just got back from the clinic. Labs were still just above the cut-off, so Erin didn't need blood today. We praise God for that! The less she needs, the better. We go back for her next appt on Tues. Unfortunately, she started feeling yucky last night and continues to feel "not so great" today. Her stomach and head hurt. I asked her if it was my driving but she wouldn't commit. :-) She is just vegging and watching TV. Hopefully I will get some soup in her for lunch. She had fun last night with her sisters. They just hung out. I love having them all home, it gets to be an "event" to have them all here at the same time.

"...I will continue to rejoice, for I know that through your prayers and the help given by the Spirit of Jesus Christ, what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance." Philippians 1:18-19

Thank you for your prayers. We live by grace!! love, janet

Erin,

Sorry you're yucky. It's kind of one of those days, with the rain and all. A good watching movies day. Hang in there girl. It sounds like you're kicking butt with this round of treatment...getting home so early from the chemo and not being as sick. We will praise God for that and continue to ask for your complete healing. Sending hugs your way (big ones...can you feel them?!).

LOVE,
~The Petersons

Hi Sweet Girl,
I'm sorry you don't feel so great today, and I'm sure you are already tired of the trips back and forth to the clinic. But do you have any idea the many ways that you and your family glorify God every minute of this adventure that you are on? You are all being so obedient unto Him even though you would probably much rather curl up and pull the covers over your head until this is gone. Every blog that you write praises our God for all that He is to all of us. What an inspiration to everyone who is going through a season of dark times, and also to those who haven't taken the time to get to know God personally! Don't you know that God is smiling down on all of you everyday? I know you all would much rather do without this season in your lives, but be encouraged that the deepest dark time in your life will become the best God time you will ever experience. You all shout a huge VICTORY cry everytime you communicate with us by praising our God in the midst of your trial. Thank you! We love you and continue to pray for complete healing, and more good days than bad. The Sykes'

“Lord, through the trials, remind us of your great, precious promises so we may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.
In our "days of worship", keep our eyes open, drinking in your strength and glory. In your generous love we are really living at last!
