Mon 3/3

Good Morning Prayer Warriors,
We are blessed today to say that Erin's nausea has finally subsided. She is feeling much better today. They started her on some steroids last night and I think it must have helped. We are half way through this round already which is awesome, only 4 more days of chemo. WBCs are 2.4, so the numbers are still o.k., it will take them a couple more days to start crashing.

"The Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express." Romans 8:26-27.

Thanks for your prayers. love, janet

Hello Miss Erin:

I'm happy to hear you are feeling better today. If we can just get the blend of M&M colors correct, nausea, rashes and Tics will never return. I just hope we haven't given you anything in the past that caused any of that. I know there is a rumor that we caused the hair loss. We deny that charge and will let those needle using Emory doctors take that credit...or blame.

So you have another picture for your room of someone named Matthew somebody or other. Is that as cool as the large picture you have of those wimpy looking guys from UGA? We didn't know any of them either. Big deal! How many of them have made personal room and house calls? OK, maybe you don't want to confess in this forum. At least you still have the picture of, what your Dad referred to as a "crack professional medical team", near by to keep you in touch with reality. Dr. Butz is undecided about the "crack professional" part of your Dads description, however, he is taking it as a compliment for now.

We Love You! We Miss You! And as always... We're Behind You All The Way!! (Where else would "crack professionals" be?)

Blessing-Moore-Butz Team

Erin,

I have enjoyed reading your blog and want you to know that I am continuing to pray for you. I remember when I went back to Emory for my second round - how it felt to gear up for it and then actually start. Please know that, speaking from experience, this too shall pass. I never thought that there would be life after Leukemia, but THERE IS!!!! With God's help, strength and love, you will make it. I have claimed Eph. 4:13 as my life verse: "I can do all things through Him who gives me strength." I know you can as well.

I would love to come down and visit with you and your parents - maybe this week, if that would be okay with you. I will call to find out when would be a good day.

Hey Erin - thank you so much for sharing your big sis with me this weekend. I just loved having the chance to talk and pray with her. And the singing wasn't bad either. Oh and the laughing. Yup, we did that too.

And I know you know this - but she is a pretty special lady and loves you ever so much.

You really got prayed up this weekend. Next year - we want you there!!!

Love,
Sarah

Good Afternoon Erin!

I just wanted to let you know that I had the pleasure of meeting your sister Amanda this past weekend on the Women's Retreat - You two have something in common - Total Awesomeness! She has got the singing voice of an angel! She spoke very highly of you and after she was finished speaking it was as if you were in the room with all of us the entire weekend.

My husband and I continue to pray for you daily and you stay a constant prayer request on the prayer chain in our Disciple class. I that we have worn out the 739# buttons on the phone as the digits seem faded but all for a wonderful girl that we care about and miss --- we are just so prayerful that you will be able to come home for good soon! It's going to be pure awesomeness when you and that amazing smile are able to back to Church - your absence is felt each week --- We and your extended Church Family just really miss you so much!

God Speed!

Blessings,
Kathleen Cotner - FUMC Lawrenceville Church Member

Hi Sweet Erin,

I'm so glad that you are feeling better today. I know you are happy that you are on the downside of the bell curve (kinda like a roller coaster, huh!?!). Picture yourself on that roller coaster. The ride up was slow and rough, but now you are flying downhill with your arms in the air squealing and laughing the whole ride down. That's where you are!!!! Soon the ride will be over and you will only have the memories.

1 John 5: 14 & 15 - And we can be confident that He will listen to us whenever we ask Him for anything in line with His will. And if we know He is listening when we make our requests, we can be sure that He will give us what we ask for.

You have soooo many people praying for your healing. He is surely listening!!!!! We love you.......

Hey there Erin!!!

I just love, love, love you....I am glad to hear that things are better today...Praise God, huh!

So I had the blessing of praying with Amanda this weekend on Sunday morning during our closing...it was an amazing experience...could you feel us praying? We were lifting you before the throne and asking for the miracle that only God can do!!! It was such a blessing!!

I do want to come down and see you soon...would you like a visitor? I will call first to make sure that it is a good time. I just have to see this room, that you have decorated all over the place.

You are an incredible example of faith in action and I just admire you so much for being that. I can only imagine what God is going to do with your testimony both now and in the future!!!

I love you girl!!! Keep standing or "laying" on His promises (as the case may be if you are in bed)..tee hee

Blessings,
Bryan, Linda and Ciara

Already half way done. Praise Jesus! I thank him that your nausea has subsided too.

Lord, I pray that you would carry Erin through the next several days of chemo and then through recovery. You have her in your hands. Thank you. I pray for remission for Erin. Take the Leukemia away. Heal her wholly.

4I always thank God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus. 5For in him you have been enriched in every way—in all your speaking and in all your knowledge— 6because our testimony about Christ was confirmed in you. 7Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed. 8He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9God, who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful.
1 Cor. 1:4-9
So I read this this morning and thought of you guys. I love you all!
