Sun 3/16

Good morning, Erin is back in the hospital. She was running a temp this morning when she woke up so they asked us to come to the hospital. They have done blood cultures and are giving her antibiotics as we blog. Unfortunately, she got hives from the Vancomycin. That is not so good since Vancomycin is one of the big guns for infections. I just keep saying, God knows what He is doing. Erin is really upset by this set-back, she doesn't want to be here. On the good side, we did have a week at home, so if we have to stay a couple of days, it will be o.k. Please pray that they figure out this infection quickly and that we can go home again soon. I praise God that Erin is being so strong through all of this. Thank you for your prayers. More later. janet

I'm so sorry you all are back at the hospital unexpectedly, but that is the place to be so they can figure out what is going on and get you back in good form. Praying for the infection to go away FAST!!!

With love,

Dont let the hospital stay get you down. Just think of it as a chance to spend time with those lovely nurses again. Also random fact: vancomycin is the most expensive drug per gram...my chemistry teacher told me that. And I am also allergic to it. I get "red man symndrom" where my head turns red and I get hot...weird huh? Anyways...never forget God is always there and his plan is always on time.

Love you!

hey erin, I know I'm being redundant but I'm sorry that you had to take a trip to the hospital. But, on the bright side, they have cool beds that move up and down, and their food is cool even when it looks kinda funny, and you have your family there with you, and you get to see a LOT of cool people that you don't know! I think that's my favorite part. Guess what?!? I won my first alta match today! I was REALLY nervous! I looked up so you think you can dance and tryouts are almost finished! I didn't even know they had started yet! I'm really excited for this season! It's coming up soon! Love you and praying for you! Love Jessie

Hi! We are so sorry to read you are back in the hospital!! But it sounds as if you have some great nurses and doctors, so they will find the problem soon and fix it, right? Yes, the Lord will look after you. We will pray extra hard.

Still lifting you up sweet sister...Father, surround this precious daughter of YOURS....Surround her today, not only with Your presence, but with YOUR strength...Father, lower her temp and heal any little infection that may be trying to sneak in...Lord, surround this precious family with a bubble...a bubble created by YOUR very hands, just encompassing them...no matter where they are...Father, that NO harm shall reach them...Lord surround them steadfastly with YOUR angels of protection, that they may sense the nearness of YOU, our Heavenly Father......Lord, aide the doctors and nurses who attend to her, ..Father bless them with a spiritual knowledge...one that can only come from YOU LORD, ...Father, bless them with patience and with joy when caring for these loved ones.....Father, bless this family with Your perfect peace in this time...continue to strengthen them all, ....Father, especially now...bring a song of joy and of healing to Erin's spirit...that as she continues to heal by YOUR hand...that her countenance is light, ...that her spirit is as a feather, and that the breeze of Your breath being so close keeps her heart and smile as a warm embrace to all who see her and have contact with her....LORD, let YOUR JOY just ooozzzeee from the pores of this family.....Father, continue to bless them all.....annoint this time Father, ....and let it continue to bring glory to YOU as it has been.....Thank You Father, for this family...Thank YOU Father for their love.......IN JESUS' NAME..............AMEN..............

Saying lots of prayers for you! Erin, Stay strong! I am so proud of you! Janet and Bill, my heart goes out to you! Luke is home with a simple tummy ache this morning, but I want to bear his pain for him so badly. We are keeping ALL of you uplifted. May this be a short vacation from home sweet home. I think that the nurses so enjoy your family that they create ways to maintain the visits! May this be a short one! Infection be gone! So glad that the side effects have been minimal this round...hoping the meds aren't too troublesome...don't we wish the m&ms could be the cure-all! Take care of one another...sending you lots of love!

Hey there kiddo,

After reading the prayer Mrs. Bledsoe offered up for you, your family, & your Doctors all I can say is AMEN, AMEN, AMEN! She sure has the gift of prayer.

I pray you're felling better this morning. Just remember that the original plan with this round of Chemo was a stay of 3 to 4 weeks without coming home so He gave you a bit of a reprieve. This round of Chemo seems to have given you much less of a hard time in terms of side effects so there is much to be THANKFUL for.

Keep up the positive attitude that goes with that great smile of yours and get back to walking as soon as your energy permits.

I love you:0) Uncle Ron
