Monday 3/24

Hello, We hope your Easter was wonderful! Erin is feeling fine today and is getting ready to walk on the treadmill as we speak. She has an appt tomorrow at the clinic and with the Dr so maybe we will be able to schedule her next biopsy for later in the week. We never thought we would be anxious to get it done, but we are definitely ready to hear the word remission.

I can't believe it is snowing right now but it is!! Crazy weather!! Wish it would snow 10 inches so we could actually play in it. I know my WV cousins are laughing at me and would be glad to share their snow!!

"Dear Friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us." 1John 4:11-12

Thanks for all the love, we are truly blessed by all of you!! As the verse above says, we haven't seen God, but we feel His love through all of you!! Thanks for the prayers. hugs, Janet

Hello Miss Erin:

Happy to hear you are feeling better. I saw your little sister in Church yesterday, along with your Dad. Can't wait to see you there with them. It's getting closer every day.

Good news and bad news... No Easter Bunny Stew yesterday. I guess that's good news for the bunny and bad news for me. I did see one in the yard Friday night late. Thought I had a volunteer for dinner, but it was faster than I am. And no using a gun in the neighborhood. The neighbors seem to get nervous when I'm walking around the yard with a weapon. Go figure. P/A Blessing suggested in Church yesterday that I leave the rabbits alone. Hard to tell her no.

We're all with you on the Remission idea. You've had enough vacation time with this silly leukemia stuff, right?? :) :) :)

All Our Love and Prayers!
Dr. Ken and the
Blessing-Moore-Butz Team.
That's us... Behind You All The Way.

Hi Erin,

It's good to hear you are feeling well and heading to the treadmill. I write that just as I eat some chocolate...thinking I should probably be going on the treadmill.

I will be praying for your visit to the doctor and pray for remission of course. I know you are anxious to get all of this over with, so I pray for you to have peace and patience but thank God that you are determined to "finish the drill". You are a bulldog after all:)

I love you, Brittany

So I was flipping through my Bible and stumbled upon this verse, which you may know already, but it made me think of you!

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. And our hope for you is firm because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort."

2 Corinthians 1:3-7

I have such hope for you, because when all of this is over and a memory, God will be using you in mighty ways to comfort others and give them hope! You are such a blessing now, and how much more so will you be when you can share these experiences with others who are hurting!!! I love you! Sleep well!

Praise Jesus!

So glad to hear that Erin is having a good day and is feeling up to getting on the treadmill. We missed her at the Son-Rise Service but her presence was felt among those who attended - it was definitely warmer this year than it was last year!

We are prayerful for a great appointment today and for the doctors to shout out the word
R-E-M-I-S-S-I-O-N!

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God - Matthew 5:8

I tell you - with as pure in heart that Erin is and with what has been going on with her in the last couple of weeks let alone the past months, I am sure that she has not only seen God but has felt His presence within her. I know that we have seen His spirit in her because of the strength and faith that she has sustained during this entire ordeal.

She is such an inspiration and such a tower of strength and its because of this strength that she has been able to fight the good fight as instructed in 2 Timothy 4:7 That says I have fought the good fight, I have finishd the race, I have kept the faith. The race may not be over for Erin but she is still very much in it and is winning because she has indeed kept her faith.

Erin, we love love love you and cannot wait to see you in Church soon!

Many Blessings and Grace,
The Cotners
