Dear Friends, Good Morning. Erin had a very hard night. I guess the chemo finally caught up with her and she had so much pain and nausea, it took them until just now at 11:30 a.m. to get it under control. It takes several meds combined to get any relief. So we didn't get any sleep and she hasn't been able to hold anything down since yesterday afternoon. She did manage to get some of her walking in yesterday before the side effects started, but we probably won't walk today. She has too much sleeping to catch up on. Today is the last dose of chemo, which has been slightly delayed to allow her premeds to get in her system. So we are praising God to be on the last day of this nasty stuff. Of course most of the side effects will be in the coming days but at least we won't be adding more chemo to her system. Tomorrow is her day of rest as far as medications go and then the transplant will be thurs or fri depending on what time the plane lands. They always want to do the transplant during the day so the Drs are here. Please continue to pray for the donor as his day approaches and pray that the cells arrive safely on the plane.
I picked up a little book in the bookstore yesterday titled 21 Reasons Bad things happen to Good People. I needed to refresh on those scriptures. It is taking me through alot of Job's journey. Talk about trials! Anyway, God is good, He is in charge of all this, and we are so blessed to be in His hands! Thanks for the prayers, this battle is spiritual warfare you know. Thankfully we know who wins!! Go God!! hugs, janet
"Brothers, as an example of patience in the face of suffering, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. As you may know, we consider blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job's perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy." James 5:10-11

Sharing a 'promise' portion of John Wesley's Hymn, from his Tyson 126:4,7...
"Human tears may freely flow
authorized by tears Divine.
Till Thine awful will we know,
comprehend thy who design
Jesus wept and so may we
Jesus' suffering all Thy will,
Felt the soft infirmity;
Feels His Creature's sorrow still.
Jesus blends them with His own,
Mindful of His suffering days;
Father, hear Thy pleading Son,
Son of Man for us He prays;
What for us He asks, bestow;
Ours He makes His own request,
Send us life, we know,...
Life...from Thee is best!"
Thank you, Jesus, for having given your life for our shortcomings and for eternally interceding on our behalf...we lay it ALL at your feet for you WILL carry our requests directly to our Creator.
Amen & Amen

Good Morning Erin,
Even though I pray everyday for you many times, today I have such a strong desire to be praying with you by your side so even though my words are jumbled here it goes. . .
Dear Heavenly, Healing Father,
These days are so crucial and ones we have all been anxious for and even though we know you are there, it makes us comforted to voice our concerns again and again. God, you are the creator of all things good and we ask that you be in all the details of the next several days' events.
*Lord, be with the donor whom you specifically called for Erin-let him feel the complete joy in the giving of life, protect him from any complications, from any harm. Lord pour out blessings on him and his family during this time.
*Lord, be with the airplane pilots, the equipment involved, the weather, the hundreds of people involved in the transfer of this precious bone marrow. Seal them off from any evil or hardship.
*Lord, work through the nurses, doctors, techs, surgeons, etc. Give them your healing hands at this moment and throughout the procedure.
*Lord, go ahead of the doctors, the plane, the carriers, the prep team, everyone involved--to pave your safe path free from distraction and filled only with success.
*Lord, take away every germ or any other hindrance in or around Erin's room. Make it completely perfect for growing good cells.
*Lord, be especially with Erin and all those surrounding her. Drain away all anxious thoughts, all sadness, all pain and fill them to overflowing with comfort, healing, joy, and the confidence that comes in knowing who You are and what You do.
*Lord, please allow Erin to just lie there in peace as you work your powerful healing into every cell of her body. Let this be the birthday beyond all other birthdays. The one that rids her body of cancer once and for all.
*Lord, you are more than amazing, more than awesome, more than incredible, more than any of our words can describe. Thank you in advance for your constant, consistent, dependable, love for us, and for the miracles you are about to perform. We love you!!
AMEN
