Dear Prayer Warriors, Thanks for checking in. Erin is still in a lot of pain. They just set up a PCA for her pain. It gives a continuous dose and then she has a button to push for more medicine. Hope that works for her. Basically her mouth, throat and whole GI system are raw and every swallow is painful. We are back in the smoothie making business, cuz cold goes down easier. Please pray for pain relief. The Dr just came in and said we can expect this phase to last a week before her numbers come up and her mouth heals. We are just thankful that this too shall pass. There is a light at the end of this tunnel! Our list of 90 things to do after transplant is only on # 37, so we need some suggestions. And while you are thinking of fun things for Erin, plan some for yourself! Have a rock, paper, crazy day!! janet
"Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should. Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your converstion be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone." Colossians 4:2-6

Prayers are always with you! Especially for no more pain! Janet, you said it best...this too shall pass (and we hope it will be quick!)
Bear! I was so happy that you were able to call me today. I will bring you an orange freeze from Varsity today. I pray that your body heals quickly and that your counts recover FAST! Maybe the mystery man has RED hair! =) love you
I found my sanitizing lip balm, so I am sending more hugs and kisses!!
May your pain enter the pigs and they all go off the cliff!!
We love you and are constantly thinking about you and praying for you.

Erin - there is a Third Day song that your Mom's comments made me start to sing called "Light at the
End of the Tunnel....Shining Bright at the end of the tunnel...for you...." - even as you go through all of this awful stuff, I believe in my heart that there IS a light at the end of this dark tunnel for you. He is ever faithful and will see you through. I am not too good at quoting scripture, but I surely can sing my heart out for you!
We love you and miss you.
Ms. Kimberly and Mackenzie
I am sorry you feel so poorly Erin, and I am praying for the light at the end of the tunnel to hurry up, so you start to feel better.
I have been trying to think of things worthy of the list. I've always thought it would be fun to schedule a professional photo shoot with my friends at a fun place (maybe UGA campus?).
And after being in the hospital so long, I'm sure you're going to want to sleep outside under the stars for a night.
Planning a road trip of sorts should also be in order.
I will try to think of more things to consider for the list.
In the mean time, I'm praying!
My accountability group meets tonight and we will defiantly be praying for Erin and for all of you.
Things I want to do!!!
Some things on my list are seeing the Northern Lights.
Watching a sun set in the desert.
Going to Hawaii
Two things I can highly recommend!!!
Watching a clutch of baby sea turtles being released back into the ocean is one of my all time favorite things that have ever done, ever!!
Being nose to nose with a dolphin, it was like looking into the eyes of wisdom.
Blessings
Robin
