Rest day 2

Dear Prayer Warriors, Good Morning! Erin is feeling pretty good this morning. Yesterday turned out to be a not so very good day. She was nauseous all day. But by 11 p.m. she started feeling better and slept better than she has in days. So we are praising God this morning for the start of a good day. They informed us yesterday that the transplant will definitely be Saturday morning. The extra day or 2 of rest must be God's way of giving Erin a break. We are in constant prayer for the donor as he is going to have his big day tomorrow. We loved the prayer Cindy Sykes wrote on Tues' blog. Very eloquent. I have referred back to it a couple of times just to pray it again. Thanks Cindy. We are thankful for all your prayers. And we know God is happy with them too!! He loves a cheerful giver and I think that can also apply to intercessory prayer!! Blessings on you all, hugs, janet

"This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else. And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you. Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!" 2 Corinthians 9: 12-15

How perfect is God's word?? WOW!

Hi Erin, we spoke briefly while we were waiting for labs @ winship just before you went in. I am thinking of you constantly and praying for the restoration of your health. The transplant itself is a piece of cake compared to what you've been through with chemo. The work begins afterwards. Remember to walk, walk, walk, even when you don't feel like coming out of your room. And of course, be an mouthcare fanatic! Dry mouth and sores suck. I'm believing that God will soon give you the day filled with so much joy and peace that it will wipe away all your bad days. Take care and you'll remain in my prayers. With God's love, Jennifer

Good morning Blonshines!
Just wanted you to know the prayer team at The Way continues to lift all of you in prayer. God is definitely in control as He prepares your body for the transplant. His timing is perfect - never late, seldom early - ALWAYS ON TIME! We will continue to pray for the donor and for you - may God protect your immune system. May He prepare your body not only to receive the transplant, but to welcome it! May He tenderly care and provide for you in the days ahead with minimal side effects, rest, and recovery. "Because of the LORD'S great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, 'The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for Him.' The LORD is good to those whose hope is in Him, to the one who seeks Him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD." Lamentations 3:22-26
Blessings and peace,

Hey Ms. Blonshine,
This is Alex Reinecke from your Language Arts class. I saw that you were not in schook and I later heard the news. Know that God is with you no matter what! I was wondering if I could get your e-mail address so I could give you a few of my thoughts. Thank you for everything and I hope you feel better.

Your student,
Alex Reinecke
