1/9 10:00

Thanks for all the cards, phone calls and blog comments. Erin is encouraged by your love and comments. We are hoping today will be better for Erin. She had a sleepy day again yesterday and didn't have the strength to do her walking. We think, because of the hives, they gave her too much anti itch medicine. That in addition to the antinausea meds just overloaded her system. Please pray for energy to do her walking and continued appetite, even if it is just for cereal. Her
WBCs are 0.4 and that's good , it means she is responding to the chemo. Our praise is that the first 5 days were the heaviest on chemo and we are now on day 6, so the chemo is reduced to one drug twice a day instead of 3 drugs. She has wonderful nurses and Drs taking care of her and that is also a praise. Keep praying please!! Love to all, janet

Erin is being prayed for everywhere...even at my school by people she's never met! And that is awesome! God is good...all the time God is good!

My verse for today on my daily calendar is:
"I will show kindess to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments."
- Deut. 5:10

I love you Erin and can't wait to go see Celine with you...."It's all coming back to me now!!!!" (belted at the top of my lungs just for you :)

Hi Erin,

I wanted to let you know that I've been keeping up with your progress, and I pray for you multiple times a day. I know that God will give you the strength to beat this! Here is one of my favorite bible verses:

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
-Philippians 4:13

You have people praying for you all over the world and soon you will have some prayers coming from France! I leave Friday to study at a university in Paris. I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

In Christ,
Colleen Cogan

Bear,

Hello gorgeous girl. I think of you constantly, and Y-O-U are on the heart of the Lord. He continues to show me verses that I IMMEDIATELY know I am meant to share with you. How cool are you?? Ah! He has been teaching me so much lately about healing and his ever giving mercy.

SO this is for YOU from the Lord:

Yet, the Lord LONGS to be gracious to you; He rises to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blesses are all who wait for Him.
How gracious He will be when you cry for His help! As soon as He hears, He shall answer you.

Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you saying, "This is the way; walk in it!"
-Isaiah 30: 18-19 and 21

You rock. Can't wait to see you soon. I love you E

Hey Erin!!
I love you sooooo much and have been praying for you!! You are such an incredible girl!! When I think about the people in my life who have really touched me, you are definitely at the top of the list!! You are such a great example for all of us and God is using you in miraculuos ways!! We were talking at school today about how it's hard to understand why we go through difficult things, but when we do go through the valleys, to keep heart because God sees the big picture and has an amazing plan for our lives....... bigger than we can ever comprehend. I love you!! :)

Isaiah 43:2-3: "Whan you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior."
