Today Erin is feeling o.k. except for a big case of hives. she came down with the hives last night around 8 p.m. They don't know which med is causing it, but it might be one of the antibiotics she has been getting. Her numbers are down today and they will give her 2 units of blood after lunch. She did 5 laps yesterday and 5 today so far. Her chemo ran overnight and they are pushing more this morning. They converted all but 3 pills to IV so that helps with some of the nausea. Her High School friends came over last night and gave her an incredible scrapbook from girl scout days to now and even had a page for the cruise they are planning in the future. What a treat. Anyway, lots of loving visitors and prayers. Thanks to Aunt Deb and Uncle Ron for sending her name to Venezuela. God is good and we are encouraged by His Spirit through all of you!! Keep up the good work. love, janet

Erin,
It was good to see you last night . With all that is going on you still look so strong. We hope that the scrapbook helps in some little way. We hope to see you soon.
Wow, there's a lot of hope in those
words. In fact, hope is defined as "a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen." What is more, hope is "a person or thing that may help or save someone."
Erin, just keep hoping that the good days are great and that the bad days are not so bad. In fact, just have faith that your hope will overcome all the bad.
Jenn and I hope that we can simply be as strong for you as you have been for everyone else throughout your life. Out of everyone in our group, you have always been and will always be the strongest. In the past you've been our pillar to lean on. Now, let us be your pillar. If you need us to lean on, we will be there. If you need us to laugh with you, we will be there. If you need to cry, pray, sing, shout, dance, party, and love with, we will be there.
We love you so much,
Jason and Jennifer Marlowe

Hi Erin,
This is Mindy, one of your West Virginia cousins.
I just wanted to let you know that we are thinking of you often and praying for you.
From reading the blog, it's evident that you have a tremendous amount of support from your family and friends.
I'm planning to start walking on my lunch break at work when the weather permits and I'll be walking with you. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
I hope that your health is restored at record speed. We serve an awesome God and I very much believe in His miracles.
Feel better SOON!
We love you in WV too,
Mindy Bennett
So at church today with Jim, we sang this old, old youth song!
"Our God is an awesome God,
He reigns from Heaven and earth
With wisdom, poer and love
Our God is an awesome God!"
(just picture the hand motions we used to do)
Thought of you while I was singing it. Love you!

geJanet,
Thank you for the updates on Erin. She is so in our thoughts and prayers!
Love,

(friends of your parents)
Erin,
Sorry we missed you last night. Lane and I have not stopped praying for you. Today in church, Davis asked the congregation to pour out prayers for you. I could feel the power of prayer in the santuary.
Anything we can do to support you and your family let us know.
For comfort- think about Lake Burton- laying on a raft late in the afternoon or seeing the sunset just before dark.
You are loved.
Kurt & Lane Witter
Hey, Sweetie!
I can see your smiling face as I write this love note to you...freckles painted on at Fall Festival, Hawaiian flowers in your hair at Spring Break, and tears wetting your cheeks as you cried with our kids committing their lives to Christ! I love all those faces but more importantly YOU!
Continue resting in His Word knowing He is sitting at God's right hand praying for you, everyday, all day and all night, too!
Remember...the Lord told Paul, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." I pray Christ's power will rest on you."
The Kirkmans have been sick with head and chest gunk for the last two weeks--wish we could have visited before now--knew not to bring any new germs your way.
Our prayers are unending...bunches of XXXXX's and 000000's for u!
Gosh, it is so hard not getting to hug you on this message! 0000 just doesn't seem to get it done! Oh, well, someone there will have to hug you for me...
Catch you soon!

Erin,
First of all, I love you to death girl. You are such an incredible person. I have loved growing even closer to you at Essentials and girl's group. By the way, I really think that girl's group has begun to move many of our girl's closer to God, and that's all because of you and Kristen. I thank you again for giving us the oppurtunity.
We miss you so much and are fighting for you and praying for you like crazy. You are a strong girl and have an amazing relationship with God- he WILL pull you through this.
Erin, I love you and miss you. Beat this quickly because I want to see you soon. :D We have more ninga tag to play! (remember when I taught you on the beach?!)
Love you lots,
Lauren Blessing
Hey Guys!
I just did some surfing, on the web, :) and learned that people can go online to register with the National Bone Marrow Registry. Go to Marrow.org. Hopefully Erin will be cured by chemo alone. Either way there are lots of Erin out there who may need help.
Love ya and I'll talk to you soon,
Aunt Debbie
Please know that you and your family are in my prayers. You don't know me but I am a memeber of FUMC and I have been praying for you ever since I heard the news. You will continue to be lifted in my prayers.
Hey Erin,
This is Carmen from Eng. Ed. (but how could you forget me!?). Honea called to let me know and I prayed for you immediately. You were on my mind a few days ago. You are truly one of the BEST people that I know. I would come to visit, but my sinuses are always acting up (remember Jekyll Island?). Anyway, I love you and am praying for you every chance I get. :o)
-Carmen
Hi Erin,
I heard my sister and parents dropped you a visit. I was very sad(and so was Waffle) that you couldn't come. I hope you get much better soon though. You are in all of my prayers. The retreat was very fun. I walked up to random people and asked "u ballin?" most lauged and walked off. It was fun and i want to thanks you for planning it. :D I hope you fell better soon!
-Poptart
P.s.-i hope that i can come visit soon too!
Hey Erin Jr.!
I hope you are getting lots of sleep and are able to eat a little today. Kristen and I plan to come visit later in the week whenever you are feeling up to it! Also, I have some exciting news that I know you will love to hear! We adopted our new puppy today! She appears to be mostly yellow lab, but with green eyes. Maybe part Wiemeraner, we think? She is 10 weeks old and we named her Zoey. She and Buddy have been playing in the yard all day! I will bring pictures when we visit. She is too cute, and she says she hopes you have a good day tomorrow! I am thinking about you and praying for you every day!
Erin Sr. :)
We send our love and prayers

Erin,
I have worked with your mom for the last ten years if not longer and I feel like I have gotten to knon you family through her. I have been thrilled to get to know you through a decade of stories about lake trips, retreats, academic acheivements, good times in Athens (Go Dawgs!) and so much more. It has been such a pleaure to see what an accomplished and beautiful young woman you have grown into!
I am so sorry to hear of the challenges that you are now facing but I know how strong you are and with your awesome family at your side, ya'll can overcome anything!
All the girls at the hospital are thinking of you and praying for you.
Please tell Janet how much she is missed!
Love, Christy (you also know me as the clown girl)
P.S. Just a quick story for you: My next door neighbors sister had a car accident also, and during the CT scan they found a cancerous tumor on the kidney that otherwise would have been undetected for who knows how long. God is Awesome!
We will be praying for you.
Well, it's not as exotic as Venezuela, Mozambique, Australia, or even Canada, but you can add Indianapolis to your map o' prayer support. Our Bible study group will definitely be praying for you on Sunday nights - I'll check the blog for updates and specific prayer requests. I'm really glad we were able to visit you!
love
Ashley & Matt Overley
Kellie and I were talking about you the other day. How you are our "sunshine" and the sweetest person ever! You were the best agape chair SAO could have hoped for! (I love the earrings you got me for my birthday!) Ahh, memories...
Be strong and take courage. Do not fear or be dismayed. For the Lord your God is with you. We're all praying for you, Erin. Get better soon!
Love,
Rachel Berganske
Janet,
Abigail Hostetter here. I went to high school w/ Erin & was in SAO with her. Thank you so much for the updates--I had no idea till today that this was happening.
Erin,
I'm so sorry you have to go through this. I will be praying & I'm so glad we have a way to stay in touch, and that everyone's shown up to tell you they're around, hanging in there with you. You've been an inspiration to me since high school, and now I'm especially glad to have a way to pour back into you. I really do wish you didn't have to go through this, but I see such strength in you...I'm glad too that prayer isn't thinking oneself better or removing negative energy or any other vapid thing, but that it puts the weight on the only One who can actively do something by/through/ or in spite of the doctors--in spite of the strongest darkness, a light outside oneself. Please, please know that I am thinking of you.

Hey Erin!
I wanted you to know that I am praying constantly for you! And I have my whole grae praying for you as well (since I go to a Christian school, I can ask everyone to pray. Haha)
I love you so much. And I know that God is going to give you strength. Just know that we love you and are always praying! Keep strong!
Good Morning Erin,
I hope your day is bright. Started back to work this morn and the first thing I thought of was you. Still praying for you and wish you a blessed day. I started to call you yesterday, but I am hearing you are getting bombarded so I passed. Tell Mom and Dad we are praying for them as well and what the heck, give em a hug for me and take one for yourself.
Stay Strong
Your friend in Christ,
Mr H
Erin,
You don't remember me but I'm an old Army buddy of your Dad's and we worked together at Boeing.
Please know we are keeping you and the whole Blonshine bunch in our prayers over here in Huntsville, AL.
I've never known a stronger family and I know with the love and strength you all share and with God you will beat this.
Warrior Spirit
