1/12/08 1:30pm

Hello everybody- its Laura. Today is the second to last day of her first 10 days of chemo. We are almost done with stretch one of the road to recovery. She is doing good today- we are trying to bribe her to go walk as we speak. Praise God for getting us this far and for going ahead of us into the next stages. His love is surrounding us and we are so thankful for all your prayers! They are an encouragement especially to me when I can't be by Erin's side through this, I know that all the prayers are surrounding her and comforting her. Today our specific prayer request is for her mouth and throat. Due to the chemo, both her mouth and throat have swollen, making it difficult to eat and swallow.

My dad and I also did some more decorating today and have added a prayer map to the wall. We want to track Erin's prayers since we have gone global. So we would love it if you would help us track the prayers by letting us know where her name has been sent. Thank you for all your prayers and for blogging with us. Keep God updated.

To Him my All,
Laura

Erin, we are praying for you in Dothan, AL, and so is our church family. My best friend in St. Petersburg, FL, is praying for you and so is her church family. I have sent an email to my family in Melbourne, FL, to pray for you and their church. Keep hanging in there! Just walk a little, okay? It may help you more than you know.

Hi Erin,
Kyle called me this afternoon and told me the good news about your most recent blood tests...praise the Lord!!! Here in Augusta we continue to pray for your continued improvement and for comfort from some of the side effects from the chemo. I hope that you were able to find the strength to take your walk today. I'm also hopeful that you were able to eat and drink a little something today. Also included in our prayers are the needs of your parents, sisters and other family members. They are your direct source of strength, love and encouragement. We lift them up in prayer so that they can continue to minister to your needs.
I wish you a restful night,
Ms. Debbie
(Amanda's Mom-in-law)

Hey Erin!
I'm so sorry that I was unable to come see you today as I had originally planned. My mom and I have both been sick with a cold, and although it's not very bad right now, I for sure don't want to expose you to anything that I may have. But I hope to get a chance to come see you soon! I'm praying for you each and every day, and for the rest of the Blonshine family! I love you all! Erin, I'm currently praying for you in Dacula, but as of January 27th, you can mark Mexico City, Mexico on your prayer map, since I'll be on my mission trip there for 2 months. I of course will continue to pray for you! I love you!
God Bless and Much Love,
Catty

hey Blonshine family
I have added your name to my cousin's prayer chain in Surprise, AZ which also goes out to Duluth, GA, New York City, Philadelphia, PA, and Columbus, Ohio; many buckeyes have you listed on their prayer lists as well. My neighbor that just recently moved to South Carolina (Greenville) just listed you at the church they just joined.
You guys are not alone in the journey and you are loved by many.
