1/8 10:00
Good Morning, Thank you for your prayers, we feel them, and thanks to the prayer pager from our church, we hear them as well. The pager goes off almost constantly, and we praise God each time for the faithful friends who are lifting her name up to heaven. Erin is doing fine this morning, more awake than yesterday. We got good news yesterday, the cerebral spinal fluid from the spinal tap a few days ago was clean, no leukemia cells were in it. They will check that periodically. She is on day 5 of the chemo and her WBCs are o.4 so it's working. She still has her rash and they have now decided that it is the chemo med causing it. They have the itching reduced a bit, but she will just have to tolerate it until we are done with the chemo. Thanks for the prayers for her appetite. She was able to eat Golden Grahams cereal yesterday. Bill is so great to go running for the lastest cravings. Thanks to our friend Candi for sending Erin's name to Greece and Romania. World wide coverage is in sight!! Ashley pointed us to 1 Peter which says " Rejoice greatly, though now for a little while you may have to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith - of greater worth that gold, which perishes even though refined by fire - may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed." Ya'll have a blessed day amd keep praying!!! love, janet

Good morning Blonshines,
Know that prayers are constantly being sent up from the thriving metropolis that is Elon, NC. I spoke with a co-worker this morning and her step-father was diagnosed with AML leukemia and is now completely cancer-free and healthy again. There is such hope! I love you all - give Erin a big hug for me.
Love,
Janell
Erin,
We are happy to hear the latest good news. Gage and Jessie Nichols send their love and remind you that they are always praying for you. Gage would love to come visit you, but I told him he would have to wait. Keep fighting and we will keep praying for you and your family.

Blonshines,
Glad to hear the cerebral spinal fluid was clean. Every little bit of good news are more prayers being answered.
So not only am I "blogging", but now I am on "facebook" (go figure!) and have joined the two Erin Blonshine groups that are praying for her quick recovery. With so many people praying, God must be crazy answering, like the never-ending emails in the movie Bruce Almighty! Maybe we'll all win the lottery, too!! One thing is for sure...our prayers will NOT go unnoticed!
Keep on loving and hugging each other for us and we'll keep praying for all of you.
Have a good day with more good news and lots of rest.
~Kathy Peterson
What a blessing! My daily verse for the day is:
"Pray without ceasing!"
- 1 Thess. 5:17
How appropriate! I'm almost in tears at the news of no leukemia in the spinal tap! But I'm holding it together in front of the kids. Much love!

Erin I am really praying for you hard girl! I know we never met face to face but I was really welcomed by you my freshman year when I knew no one and you invited me to so many campus outreach events. God works in mysterious ways and there is no doubt in my mind that he a has a definite plan for you. You're on all our minds babe, hang in there.
Good Day Ms Erin,
Hope your day is doing good. Still thinking about you and praying for you all the time (I guess that would be without ceasing).
Last night in disciple, we studied about the Word and it was pretty powerful.
In Genesis, God spoke and we had creation
In Exodus God spoke and we had the Big 10 (by the way, it is not related to Football)
In John that Word became Flesh.
Pretty powerful stuff. So no we look forward to God to speak and Ms Erin to be healed.
We love You
Tha Hanley's

Hey Erin,
I have finally become a blogger and it is all because of you. I consider it a privilege to pray for you daily. I must have called the pager 3-4 times yesterday. I was praying with Joseph last night and he said he was sad that you were sick and I said I was too. I told him that God can heal you if we keep praying. He agreed. Children are so genuine and full of faith. I have missed visiting you but I have been sick and around alot of sick-o's. I hope to see you soon and will pray for you right now (1:33pm). So, wait for the page. Love, Brent
Just wanted to say HI!
Kara really misses you and wants to visit you, but she understands the importance of keeping you "germ free." She said she wants to send you a comment on the blog, but she is trying to come up with something "incredible" to say to entertain you! Kara entertaining?????????
You are always in our prayers and the good news we read from your mom is a true blessing!
Love you,
Pete, Margaret, Kate and Kara
Hi Erin,
God is sooooo good! Even during this trial He gives hope. The news today is proof. YEAH!!!!!! It is a great start of a new day, so full of hope for your complete recovery. You can do it, girl!!!!! Stay strong......
Love, Prayers and Blessings,
Janice and Natalie Lutz
Erin, I read this verse and thought of you last night.
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28
Thank goodness Jesus asks us to come to him for rest. And to me, rest means peace. I pray for peace and rest for you as well as for continued appetite and physical strength. I pray that the itchiness will not even phase you.
Continued thanks for the updates Mrs. Blonshine.
Love, Brittany
Hi Erin,
Pam Stewart who knows you from your church youth group emailed me and asked me to add you to our prayer list here at Dacula Elementary. I wanted you to know that you are being lifted up by the teachers here at DES. God works in such amazing ways because when Pam emailed me, she didn't realize that I would know you from Fort Daniel. I never had the pleasure of actually teaching you, but I was the Media Specialist when you were in 4th and 5th grades. I remember how beautiful you were inside and out, and I hear that is still true.
May God bring comfort, peace, strength, and courage to you as you run this race set out before you. I'm confident you will be victorious! In God's love, Patti Woschitz
Hello Blonshines,
Just wanted you guys to know that Barry and I as well as the prayer team at The Way have been praying for Erin ever since we heard of her illness. We are claiming Romans 8:28 and know that our God is faithful to His promises. What a praise that there is no leukemia in the spinal fluid! God gave me a scripture to pass on to you from Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Erin, remember that He loves you with an everlasting love and that your name is engraved on the palm of His hand.
Blessings and love,
The Hardens
Sweet Erin!!!
Yeah for no cancer cells in the spinal fluid and for having a taste and appetite for Golden Grahams...I love them too!! I know you must be bombarded by prayer as evidenced by the pager. You are being prayed for many times a day, just by our family. Know that we love you and look forward to seeing your sweet smiling face. MUAH!!

"Every time you cross my mind, I break out in exclamations of thanks to God. Each exclamtion is a trigger to prayer. I find myself praying for you with a glad heart. I am so pleased that you have continued on in this with us, believing and proclaiming God's Message, from the day you heard it right up to the present. There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day Christ Jesus appears.
It's not at all fanciful for me to think this way about you. My prayers and hopes have deep roots in reality. You have, after all, stuck with me all the way from the time I was thrown in jail, put on trial (thankfully, i've had it better than Paul!), and come out of it in one piece... God knows how much I love and miss you these days. Sometimes I think I feel as strongly about you as God does!"
-Philippians 1:3-8
That passage is quite enough said.
Praise God for a wonderful Book!
Send my love to Erin,
-Peter Schnaak
Erin,
Kelly and I wanted to try and make it down to Atlanta to see you this weekend, but didn't want to bring high school germs with us. Know that my thoughts are with you daily. Keep the positive thoughts streaming through your mind and feel the strength of all who think and pray for you. It seems that each day is getting to be better news. Stay strong!
Love,
Angela

Erinnnn! aka: EB:D
Hey girl! So ive been thinking about you a bunch lately & praying for you a lot. You are truly amazing & have helped me with many situations & problems. I seriously have no clue where i'd be without you or what i'd do. The retreat was amazing & you did so much that made it as great as it was. You are truly someone I look up to & you are what i can honmestly call a hero! I can't wait to tell you all thats happened. Like on the retreat i came up with this saying "HEY HOMGIRL!" hahah & then i numbered everyone in our cabin a heyhomgirl#1 or some number. Then on Saturday night Lauren, Natalie, Mary Claire, Natalia, Abby, & myself all acted like we were asleep & then at about 1:45 or something we all got up & together yelled "HEYHOMEGIRL!!!" really loud! Hahah it was great & we also came up with some other things, but i'll tell you those in person. I hope you are doing better & i can't wait to see you! I love you more than words can express.
Love Kara!
Have a Good night Erin!
The Erwin Family is thinking about you.
Big HUG!

Good Morning Janet, Bill, Erin, Amanda & Laura;
My verses for this morning :)
Psalm 27:14
Wait on the Lord: Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen you heart.
Romans 5:3&4, always helps me when I going through hard times!
....but we glory in tribulations (I forget to do that part!), knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope.
Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
I love you guys and hope to see you this weekend, if Erin is up to it. We'll call first. :) Debbie
Erin,
You know that the whole department loves and misses you. We talk about you all the time (all good things!!!) and are setting up a schedule to visit so that we don't overwhelm you. I will get myself on the list ASAP - I have been sick, so I can't come quite yet. Your students from last semester miss you - many of them have come by to ask about you and to tell us to send you their love. I'll see you soon - can I bring you anything? Is there a book or DVD that you want? Magazine? Cereal?
All the best and lots of love,
Collyn Milsted
