Hello and thank you friends for all your encouragement!! Erin is doing well today and filling her "feel good" days with friends and fun.
Susan is right, Erin is a soldier in this battle and will be strengthened by the fight. Not having a son, we thought we would be spared the fear of sending our child to face the danger of war. Wrong, this is a war too. It's an ugly gorilla type war. Hidden dangers, microscopic opponents, chemical warfare! But like every soldier, Erin has a full battalion of people behind her supplying her with equipment, supplies and encouragement. And the best "General" in the universe in charge of the plan of attack. Praise God for being in charge!!
"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should. " Ephesians 6:10-20

There is nothing like a little normalacy and am so overjoyed that you have been able to relax with your family while still filling in the feel good days with friends and fun!
You are indeed a true soldier and we (your Church Family)could not be more inspired by the amount of strength that you have within you --- you have witnessed first hand just how powerful that the Holy Spirit is and what a feeling of joy that must be for you and your family!
Keep your faith as it has been your trust and faith in Him that has carried you through this journey and it will be these things that will enable you to fight the good fight and win!

That verse was our sermon at church a few weeks ago, and that is exactly what I was thinking when I heard it! Keep fighting!
