Sun 4/13

Loving friends and family, Thanks for continuing to check on Erin's progress. She is well today. She is hoping to visit her 8th grade girls group this afternoon. She hasn't hung out with them is months. It boosts her spirits to see everyone and catch a few hugs. It looks like our Tues start for round 3 will be postponed a few days. Maybe Thurs or Fri. Please pray for God's perfect timing. We are trying to be patient. We will go in for labs on Tues anyway and see what the timing looks like. Worship was wonderful this morning and we are so happy to be a part of a church that worships with passion!!

"God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth." John 4:24
"Bring an offering and come before him; worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness." 1 Chronicles 16:29

Rejoice with us in a God of miracles! love, janet

STILL PRAYING THAT THE LORDS HAND REMAINS UPON YOU ALL IN THE COMPLETETION OF THIS TRAIL ON YOUR PATH..Just so you guys know...This blog has been such a blessing to so many people...but the information gained within these pages has been phenominal....We found out this past week, that my uncle has stage 4 non-hodgkins lymphoma in his spine....the doctors have given him a 50/50 -6 month time frame...We have been lifting my aunt and all the children and grandchildren up in prayer along with my uncle....and I want you to know.....that my "normal" self.....would have reacted quite "differently" to this news...and "how to face it"...had it not been for this blog for Erin.....please...if you have a chance, put my uncle Jerry and Aunt Helen on your prayer lists.......and thank you all again Blonshines....for the multi-faceted purposes of this time...and of this blog....we love you guys!!!!!

As usual, it was a blessing seeing you at church this morning! John taught our L.I.F.E. at 11:00 and borrowed from a Louie Giglio sermon series, Hope when life hurst most". This morning it was about using your suffering as a megaphone. One of the points was about how your testimony is ampliphied when you encounter suffering yet continue to point to the cross. Girl, you have not only continue to point to the cross, but you have turned many heads, and undoubtedly hearts, to the cross! I thought the message went so well with Andrew's sermon this morning. Here's a link to Louie's sermons.

The two messages are Anchor of Hope and Megaphone of Hope. They are very touching! I thought the Megaphone imagery was pretty appropriate for you! Keep yelling through your megaphone! I know there are many listening!
GO ERIN!!!
Love ya,
Kristie

The Cotners still lift up the Blonshines in prayer as well have kept you guys as a constant on our Sunday School Prayer Chain as well as in our Disciple 1 Prayer Chain.

Hate to hear that Round 3 has been slightly postponed but God has a plan and ours is not to reason with the why -- the true blessing is that once she begins her Round 3journey she will have it completed in time for the new school year and that her students will there waiting for her with many a smile and tears of joy and gladness!

Praise God for He is Great! We have seen the miracles of His wonders and majesty through Erin as well as His most blessed Holy Sprirt working not only through Erin but in the entire Blonshine family -- most people would have given up hope at the beginning but its been your faith and trust in Him that has kept you going (not to mention a few Prayer Warriors ha ha ha ha ha ha ha) which in turn has served as a source of inspiration for your Church Family!

We love you guys! Keep Strong! and most importantly Keep the Faith!

In His Precious and Holy Name,
The Cotners

Hi Blonshine's
Just taking a moment to catch up on the blog after being out of town all last week. What a wonderful sight to see Erin sending us off bright and early last Sat. morning, and the best welcome home to see her standing in the dark when we returned to the church last Tues.night. But typical "Erin" style--that wasn't enough. When we had our first session in the big room at the retreat center we quickly noticed that Erin had written on all the love sheets already--the icing on the cake was the beautiful DVD we got to watch with her teaching us a lesson on faith. Girl, my heart just explodes in praise to God every time we see your smiling face in our midst. It is wonderful having you at church again, and youth lastnight was amazing with you back with us. We continue to lift you up in prayer as you start another round of chemo this week. God's power and strength is so evident on your rosy cheeks, your calm smile, and your reassuring demeanor when you are with the youth. Thank you for your obedience and for sharing your faith with all of us. What an amazing testimony to the magnitude of God's love! May you be blessed with a good day today!
Love you,
The Sykes'
