Sunday 2/17

Good Morning Prayer Warriors! Thanks for continuing to lift Erin's name up to our Lord. We depend on His strength daily to keep going. Erin had a good day yesterday and is feeling fine. She walked 45 minutes on the treadmill yesterday!! That's more than I can do, I am whipped at 30 minutes. Ah youth, it is definitely in her favor in this disease. Of course her greatest blessing is knowing the God of all creation is right by her side loving her!! We couldn't do this without the knowledge that God is in control. Bill just got home from church and is giving Erin the scoop on all her friends. Yes, someone is always watching you guys!! Erin just mentioned that she hopes she will be done with her second round of chemo in time to be home for Easter. It would be even better if her numbers were up so she could actually attend worship. Thanks to all of you for continuing to pray for Erin's healing. We love you all, janet

Hi Erin & Gang!
I just got caught up on the blog news, sounds like it's been a good week. Sorry we didn't get to see you this trip, but we continue to pray for you daily. Did you get our phone-a-gram? Hope our signing wasn't too painful!
This morning as I was thinking of you and life in general, I remembered the verses that say "wait on the Lord", pretty much that's what we all are doing in many ways. Right now I'm waiting on the Lord to heal & strengthen you!
"Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart;" Psalm 27:14
"Our soul waits for the Lord;
He is our help and our shield."
Psalm 33:20
We love you guys, and are officially counting down to our "lake days"! 20 weeks, or 140 days, or 3360 hours, 201,600 minutes!! xoxoxo Aunt Debbie

We continue our prayers for ya'll...
Hope you made it through the tornado warnings...we hunkered down in G36 during the alert.

Allen gave a great message, giving several scriptures in Psalms to help start our days with scripture and then challenging us to get in the mindset of praise throughout the day...giving God snippets of your day. Making our relationship with him more and more intimate, and committing His Scriptures to our hearts, reflecting on them and memorizing them. He stressed giving God first place and truly understanding that God made us as wonderful creations and desires time with us...even to just listen sometimes, not asking for anything.

I pray His calmness over you...His special silence...centering you on His Word as you listen for Him in His words to you (from friends, from His scriptures and promises, from peaceful dreams He will give you).

John 10:3
"The watchman opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out."
love you!

Hey Erin! Jared and Zoey and Buddy (our dogs) are sitting here with me on the couch and want to say hi! She is already 18 pounds (She was 9 pounds when we got her a month and a half ago) and was terrorizing all the Dobermans and Huskies at the dog park yesterday. Everyone kept going "Whose puppy is that? She is fearless!" We were a little embarrassed but it was pretty funny. I know you're a dog person, so I thought you would want to know. I can't wait until your counts are up so you can meet her! Miss you!!!!!!!!
