Monday, 2/25

Well another trip to get labs and another trip back home. The WBCs were 1.9 and the ANC was 779, so they are going up slightly but apparently not enough to start round 2 yet. We go back on Wed for more labs. Erin is bummed, we were all ready to get it started so we could be done sooner. However, she is feeling good and we are content to wait until God says "Go." No one seems unduly concerned at this slow pace, it is just frustrating to have to wait and not be able to do something about it. We will just sit back and count our blessings: a loving God, 100 new prayer warriors, family and friends to share our journey, no infections, no nausea, no mouth sores, no constant interuptions in the night, no hand blisters, no rash, no hospital food, our own beds... well, let's just say the list is very long. Our cup runneth over!! Thanks as usual for the constant prayers. Love to all, janet

Thanks for sharing LB with us this weekend, she made it a bear-able

Sis don't let this get you down- maybe mom will let you get out again tomorrow and go for a drive- i suggest driving to lake Lanier and watching the sunset! It would be a nice change of pace and no germs!! God is so wonderful and He is taking extra good care of you and letting your body have the time it needs to recover before the second fight. Life is good and you have Harry Potter Harry Potter (with swinging arms!) hahah I love you!

Sorry that you had another rough day of tests without the desired go ahead, but I am convinced that God is waiting for just the right moment to begin this battle. In the meantime I am so glad to hear that Erin is feeling good, she was sure a sight for soar eyes last night. What a tremendous blessing to look up and see her beautiful face there in the balcony. God bless you all for being there and giving us a chance to really focus our thoughts and prayers in your direction. We all love you dearly and I am still praying without ceasing....
Love,
Sheri

I praise God for your trusting acceptance and ability to find joy in each day, even when the circumstances feel contrary. You are much loved, and are a light to the world.

Hey Erin,

I am glad that you are feeling well even thought you didn't get the desired test results. I also wanted to let you know how cute you looked in your mask and hat last night. It made my day.

Hey Erin,

I was soooo excited to see you at the service Sunday night!! You don't even know what that did for us all but especially the kids. I think that getting to actually see you and see that you look so good was huge encouragement to them. I am glad you were wearing your very fashionable mask to keep out all the bad germs! Know that I pray daily for your numbers and your doctors and your family even when I don't get to send a blog!! Love you - and it was SOOO great to actually get to see you and see how great you look - your eyes conveyed your beautiful hidden smile!! Take heart - the numbers will go up when God is ready and when He knows your body is ready. I hope that your bodyguards will take you ou again soon somewhere other than the doctor - I really liked Laura's idea about riding to the lake!!

Every day that I actually read my Bible (which is something I struggle with), I find a passage I want to share with you. Every time. Must be that this book is awesome and relevant and holy:)

"Your love, O Lord, reaches to the Heavens, your faithfulness to the skies. Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains, your justice like the great deep. O Lord, you preserve both man and beast. How priceless is your unfailing love! Both high and low among men find refuge in the shadow of your wings. They feast on the abundance of your house; you give them drink from your river of delights. For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light."

Psalm 36: 5-9

Erin, I prayed for you and your family this morning. I love you.
