Well, the sermon today was on being angry with God. Surprisingly, we are not angry with God but we are baffled by this new turn of events. I thought we got our miracle 14 1/2 months ago and I can't understand why we have to face this again. Erin is taking it all much better than I am. She is an amazing creation of God. Thankfully she does not feel bad yet. Her counts are low but her spirits are high. She planned a busy weekend of events to keep our minds off of the coming treatment. Yesterday we went to the movies and the bookstore. Then we went out to lunch and then her teacher friends came over to talk shop. Today we went to church and absorbed the love of our church family. We couldn't do this without you all. We already feel the power of your prayers holding us up and it gives us the strength to face this horror again.
"But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down but not destroyed." 2 Cor: 7-9
Please call all your prayers circles. We need God to hear from us loud and clear!!

And just when you thought that Dr. Rip and I had settled into permanent retirement, we are being called back to duty. While we would have preferred retirement, and Erin preferred not to need us again, we'll go happily back to service. Guess we're going to have to modify the M&M Therapy this time since it didn't last as long as we expected. But have no fear, we're ready serve. Now, time to get the jackets cleaned and the lab reopened.
All Our Love and Prayers!!

PS I see you are “lucky” the two quacks, I mean fine doctors from Blessing Moore Butts are threatening to come out of retirement!
"Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." Gal. 6:2. There are lots of people carrying this burden with you guys. A couple groups in Savannah have you guys covered in prayer. We love you guys! (And I'll be up there to visit soon with puppy chow in hand!)

Words fail, but prayer never does.
I just want you all to know what a privileged it was to share in the Lords super with you yesterday.
We have been praying for you for the past two years every night. When we say our prayers with Quinn, if we forget Erin's name, she quickly reminds us to pray for her. She has never met her, but even at 3 she understands how important it is to continue to pray for others. This is what we will do, we will pray for you through the ups and down, knowing that our Lord hears the prayers of his people, even his tiniest ones.
Erin,
Know that you are loved and being prayed for.
In Christ
