Good Morning Prayer Warriors,
Thanks for the prayers! Erin had an o.k. day yesterday. She hung out in front of the T.V. and chilled, literally. She had a friend to hang out and watch movies with, so it was a lazy day. Unfortunately she fell asleep at 6:30 and didn't really get up, even for Biggest Loser! So she missed her walking, but there is always today. I don't know if the Reglan is helping but it isn't hurting so far, and that is a praise! Hopefully today she will have a little more energy. Her stomach doesn't feel too great this morning and she is again taking it easy. But she did say today that overall she feels better than she did 2 weeks ago. Thank God He shows her those kind of perspectives to hold on to when things are so slow to change. Every little bit is a glimmer of hope that tomorrow will be even better. What a gracious God we serve. Blessings, janet
"Brothers, as an example of patience in the face of suffering, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord, As you know, we consider blessed those who have perserved. You have heard of Job's perserverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy." James 5:10-11

Since we're all so openly focused on Erin's stomach and eating habits, and having heard that Janet had prepared for her porcupine meatballs, thereby giving credence to the notion that mothers really will do anything for their children, even if that anything involves roadkill, I was overcome with a rare feeling of generosity and decided to offer the Blonshines the dead possum in my garage. Problem is, the possum isn't dead yet, but it will be if it poops one more time in the cat's water dish.
But then Mrs. Hinkle tells me that porcupine balls are made with rice and ground beef. bummer. oh fudge.
well, may God bless your recipes, anyway.
I so wish I could transfer a few of my pounds to you Erin! Ok, I could spare more than a few! :)
We're continuing to pray daily, thanks Janet for giving the specifics on what to pray for.
We love you bunches!
So thankful for those baby steps of feeling better and for the sweet spirit that allows Erin to know that.........
Love,
The Stills
