Woo Hoo Prayer Warriors,
One week of feeling good in a row! Praise God from whom all blessings flow! Erin had a good day yesterday. She just hung around the house but she felt good. She didn't sleep too good last night but that may be because we are still weaning her long acting pain medicine. We also changed the type of magnesium she takes. One of the those things probably caused a little stomach upset, not to mention the prograf level decreasing. Even so, I think today will be a good day too. It is all relative to months of crummy days. Perspectives change! If I can illicit a dimple when I wake her up in the morning, I consider that awesome. Thank you Lord for dimples!! Please pray for easy transitions for all of her medicine changes, a calm stomach and energy to exercise so she can get her muscles back. Thanks as always for your prayers. There is power in prayer!! Amen! We love you, janet

"Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective." James 5:13-16

Our verses in Disciple 3 today were from Isaiah...here's one of our favorites from this week:
Isa. 55:10-11
"As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it."

His Word will accomplish what He desires...and WE are the desire of His heart! :D Nothing is more important than OUR loving HIM!
So thankful for a 'feeling good' week...Thank you, Jesus, for walking along side Erin and reminding her of your love daily
Amen & Amen

God is good all the time! All the time, God is good! I'm so glad that all of you have been able to keep the crudy days in perspective. Your journey is amazing and I'm so glad that the energy is returning. I'll be praying for Erin to 'feel' like exercising, eating, and living each day to the fullest. God Bless all of you! - Tracy Bishop

Yea for 7 good days! Now, let's go for 8 and then some!
Piggy backing on Susan's trip through Isaiah. We had one last week in Disciple 3 that made me think of Erin. Now I'm typing it from memory, so don't check me too closely on it. But here goes...
Isaiah 40:28-31
"Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God. The creator of the ends of the earth. And His understanding, no one can fathom. He does not grow tired or weary. He gives strength to weary and power to the weak. Even youths grow weary and the young man stumbles and falls. But those that hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not be faint!"

We are praying for more and more wonderful days ahead and for Erin's strength to be renewed! That treadmill is calling!

Love to you all!
Pam

Hey Erin,
Wow! so glad to hear of your week of feeling better. Janet, I agree--Praise God for dimples--especially Erin's. We will pray for the trend to continue through the medicine changes and we are always praying for good results after Thanksgiving. We love you!
