Dear Prayer Warriors,
Thanks for the prayers!! We praise God for another day toward good health, even if it is just baby steps. Erin is having a not-so-great morning again. She got up to the wonderful smells of her father cooking breakfast and only ate one bite of toast. Please pray for her stomach, her stomach and her stomach. We have tried everything. She had a piece of pizza last night. I guess that wasn't a good idea, but we have to go with whatever she thinks she can eat at the time. I offered her lentil loaf...I dont' know why she turned her nose up at it.
She is planning on attending a dinner at church tonight, hope she feels up to it. She would enjoy the company, and the opportunity to get out of the house. Until then, it's the couch and the food network. Let's call it culinary therapy.
Blessings on your weekend. Go Dawgs! love, janet

You might be interested to know that God has dubbed many patron saints of food, and rest assured I'm praying to all of them. Here is a short list; note that they're all Italian:
Santa Marta - patron of cooks, she was the sister of Mary Magdalena. She happily cooked for Christ. She
is also patron of entertaining,
San Lorenzo- is patron of boiled foods ( because of his martyrdom, yecch),pasta cooks, candy makers, diets, and graciousness.
San Pascual - is a patron of cooks, the kitchen and
domestic animals ( and finding lost animals). He was a lay Franciscan who happily worked
in the kitchen.
Santa Elizabeth- is patron of bakers because she gave food, especially bread to the poor.
Praying for an appetite, decreased pain, and keeping it down. It was wonderful to see Erin in the candelight tonight. God bless you all! - Tracy Bishop
Hi Bill, Janet, and Erin! It was so great to see each of you this evening! Erin, you looked absolutely beautiful!! I have missed seeing you and your sparkly smile, so that just made my evening! (It was hard not to give you a big fat hug, but I looked at Grandmommy and she looked like she could take me, so I kept my germy hands to myself!)
We will continue to pray for your stomach and for the nausea to go away!
We love you!
Pam
PS... Janet, I don't believe that you taught Ramona any dirty words... although I may have heard one or two come out of your mouth when you realized I was the reason you weren't getting any chocolates on your pillow! Hey, I was just eating what the nice little cabin steward placed on MY pillow!!! :)
