Blessings on your Sabbath, Erin is having an okay day. A little nausea and not much food but okay. She struggled trying to get much to stay down. It is a vicious cycle/catch 22; meds help the pain and nausea; but if you can't take with food, they hit the bucket. If you eat, it produces nausea and pain which lead to more medicine which makes you sleepy so you don't want to eat. Basically, her stomach is waging war all the time. She tries to get a little energy in but not give her stomach ammunition if you know what I mean. Again, we just praise God she is holding her own and not requiring hospitalization.

bananas? nickle-sized slices of bananas? a couple of slices here and there until a half or whole banana goes down the hatch during the course of the day? could Erin tolerate that? bananas are loaded with good stuff and supposedly very easy to digest. and chicken broth in a tea cup? yogurt taken with a demitasse spoon? I'm thinking since Erin is only 2 1/2 months old that she needs baby food. just another of my brilliant ideas that the Lord sees fit to pop into my head.

"I can do all things through Him who strengthens me." We continue to pray that God gives you that strength every hour to avoid the nausea, pain, and lack of energy. Enjoy those good days with everything you have--you know how special they are. Soon there will be many more good days than bad ones. Praise God for keeping you free of the germs that would send you back to the hospital. We love you!
We pray for those germs to stay away and for the nausea to subside!!!
