5/21

Hello, Erin is finally getting started after a few delays. We came in last night but they didn't start anything because they wanted her to have an echocardiogram before they started and that couldn't be done until today. So she had her echo today and it was fine. She just finished her last spinal tap!! Big praise!! They will start her chemo at 6 p.m. tonight. We had hoped to go home after 4 days and do the last 2 days outpatient but it turns out the clinic is closed on Memorial Day so we will have to stay here the full 6 days. Another big praise is that her bone marrow results from last friday are all clear. We are very excited to get great results! Please pray for minimal side effects and a quick recovery. Thanks again for being a vital part of Erin's team!

"I will say to the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart." Psalm 91:2,4

love, janet

Hey, I will be praying for you as your start this round but know that this is the last one! I am sorry that I didnt come up there. I got into a really bad car wreck and didnt have a car.
I pray this round of chemo goes well and the side effects are minimal.

Love, Erin

We are thrilled to hear the good results from the tests. You have been well prepared for the BIG test that this whole experience is, and even the frustration of the delays can't change that.

We love you!

YEA! for good bone marrow results! News like that gives an extra boost of stamina to endure this new treatment. We will continue to pray for minimal side affects this time, overall healing, and for the ability to get out on the lake later this summer. Thank you for your inspiration to all of us--your emotional health is a true picture of the miracles that God performs. We are committed to praying you through! Hang in there and get some good movies for the hospital stay. We love you, girl!

Singing praises for clear tests and for treatment to finally begin! We hate to hear that you will have to be tied to your hospital bed for 6 days but in due time you will be in your own bed and hopefully be resting comfortably hopefully peacefully!

Follow Cindy's advice and get some geat movies --- and just bask in the love of your Lord and your family! If you like classics, Breakfast at Tiffany's is a great flick but if that is not your taste then get anything with Tom Hanks or Nicholas Cage in it! You can't go wrong with a great comedy with great looking men in it! If you have not seen The Terminal with Tom Hanks in it then get that or Raising Arizona with Nicholas Cage and Holly Hunter -- a classic!

Continuing to send prayers of blessings and encouragement to you and your family!

Love and Blessings,
