Hello Prayer Warriors,
Thanks for your prayers! We just got back from the clinic. Erin's labs were o.k. Two of her three liver enzymes were down some and one was slightly up, so I guess that is o.k. Her magnesium was way down and they wanted her to stay for IV magnesium but Erin asked if she could just take more pills and they agreed. So now she is up to 6 mag pills/day. We won't find out about her immunosuppressant level until later in the day. Last week they e-mailed us to tell us to reduce the prograf pills, so we look forward to getting today's report.
Erin has been feeling great and getting out a little. She and Grandmommy walk the mall 2 miles every day and they both enjoy it. They go early, most of the time, before the stores open. We find they spend less money that way! She has also been keeping up with the latest movies and has started reading again after a long hiatus. And let's not forget the online shopping!! The Dr asked her last week where her energy level was and she said 75%, and apparently that is what they hoped to hear.
Dr. Langston is big on fun for the patients and held Olympic games for the summer Olympics two years ago. So she has Erin helping her plan "games" for the patients to play up on 8E. Erin has had fun planning events, music, and decorations and even medals for the Winter games coming up in a couple of weeks. We hope to attend and help them decorate and will include pictures if we get some.
So as you can see, all is well and we are feeling very blessed. Please pray for Erin's Graft vs. Host to go away and Erin's pill load to decrease so she can get back to 100%. We are praising God for each good day and look forward to many more! love, janet

You are well on the way, Erin! What a blessing! Now, I've been at the mall before the stores open, and those mall walkers are a tough bunch! I move out of their way or run the risk of getting mowed over! You go girl!!!!!
You're continually in my prayers :).
Love,
Lori
Hi! It is wonderful to hear such good news. Erin is sure the right person to help plan the games with the newer patients. She knows how everything goes and the Dr. was smart to include her. My prayers are ongoing and so are my Churches prayers.
Love, Eunice
Dear Blonshines...I don't often enter a message, but I have your family in my prayers and rejoice when there is good news about Erin. Bill and Janet, we're headed to Honduras soon! I remember our trip there fondly! God Bless You! Shalom! Barbara Conner
Hooray for a good report!
Thankful to hear such good news, but we won't let up on the prayers. That Dr. sounds really awesome, planning games for the patients. wow.
Love,
The Stills
