Good Morning Prayer Warriors, God is so good. He gave me an early morning revelation about the biopsy results. First He let me know He is STILL WORKING! How awesome is that!! He knows the desires of our hearts and our human impatience. Yet His timing is perfect, so we wait. The other thing He showed me is that the Docs were too early with their biopsy. Erin still has her hair, that means the chemo hasn't peaked yet. The Mylotarg ("smart bomb") wasn't given until day 6. So if they predict results on day 14, shouldn't they wait until 14 days after the big bomb? It all makes perfect sense at 5 a.m.! Either way, it gave me the peace I was struggling to feel yesterday and for that I am thanking God this morning. He is so patient with me.
Erin feels pretty good this morning, just facing her pills and playing a little Skip Bo with her fam. Thanks for checking in. Please keep the prayer lines busy. We love you for your faithful support! hugs, janet
"But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weakness, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake , I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong." 2 Cointhians 12:9-10

I'm so thankful for God's peace...there is nothing like it! I too agree with you and am thankful for God's revelation! Love you!
And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus...Philippians 4:7
Skip Bo? Rock on. Nothing helps like a nice game with the family. In fact, Jenn and I played Skip Bo yesterday.
P.S. Erin, I hope you win.
Praying for continued peaced, healing, and rest for all. - The bishops.
Erin: Glad to hear you are feeling better today. I am so thankful for the donor-A+ blood-can't get any better than that. We have been thinking about you all week . Peace and patience be with you this weekend. Love you,
Kurt and Lane
God is good and faithful to meet us in those early morning moments!
What a comfort to receive such a wonderful confirmation.
I will pray that each day brings more moments of close communion with the one who sustains us all!
Blessings
Robin
Janet;
I was thinking the same thing; it did seem too early to be doing a biopsy, after such a short time from completing the chemo. 100% of the nurses on this blog agree with your diagnosis. Love you all bunches and I'm sending big hugs to everyone there! Aunt Deb
we're gonna meet god at the beach for the next few days...we'll be keeping you all in our prayers ...
Tell Erin my nephew's baby Katie (who is 2 1/2 now) had her 3rd heart surgery yesterday (fontan procedure)...she was removed from the ventilator today and so far her stats look good, so He is walking with her step by step. please remember her, Kerri and James in your prayers :)
we love you all!!
Hi Erin, Janet, and Bill! We love you and are continuing to keep you in our prayers!
Still wearing my cool Walmart spring break shirt!!
Love,
Stewie & Pam
Your analysis of the situation makes sense to me Janet. Surely the chemo must still be working! We will pray for that and for health and rest.
Love you!
