Greetings Friends.....it's Bill,
Erin continued to feel pretty well yesterday evening and today. She is done with her antibiotics and her stomach has not been hurting. Coincidence?....I think not. Betsy, one of Laura's new roommates visited and the girls played cards and watched movies in the afternoon. With Janet working, I'm getting to brush up on my cooking skills. So far, so good...no nausea that I am aware of! The girls asked me to make porcupine meatballs for dinner, which we had not made since they were little. They said that they were just like they remembered and they loved them. Amanda and Kyle stopped by just as we were finishing dinner and they had some as well. It was fun to just hang out and talk for a while.
Erin walked on the treadmill for a little while today. I think she gets tired pretty quickly these days. The doctor's told us that it will be six months after she completes chemo before she will have her normal energy levels back.
Please pray that we can get back in the hospital tomorrow and get on with finishing up the chemo. We checked today and they said they have five people waiting to get in and it is possible that Erin could get out-prioritized for a room. If we get in tomorrow, we should be finished by Wednesday and hopefully back home!
Well, you guys know the drill....please keep the prayers rolling as we know God hears and responds!

Alright Bill, you can't tell us all about the porcupine meatballs without filling us in on a recipe! Just like a man! Help lead worship in the a.m., care for Erin, AND cook...are you for hire? Sounds like your doing a great job. I for one can attest to how blessed the mothers in labor are to have Janet back at the hospital. I know that Pam Stewart is hoping she'll be available in August! So glad to hear that Erin did well with this round...praying that she gets back in today to get this week over with. As for the increased energy...sounds like Erin has been doing great throughout all of this ordeal. I don't think she's missed her walking too many days! Way to go Erin! We're going to go ahead and sign her up for the Peachtree for next year!

Man! I feel that I have been away for a lot longer than 4 days but so good that I can catch up via the blog. William and I went on a delayed honeymoon to Charleston but Erin was on our mind and hearts as well as in our prayers.
Praying that a bed will be available and that both the nausea and pain will be kept at bay! Just hang in there kiddo -- you are so close to the end! Can you see the prayer warriors at the end of the tunnel waiting for you so that we may wrap you in love and hugs? WE are here waiting and praying with patience and love. We are all so proud of you! Praise God!
Rest easy - put yourself in the arms of God and know that He is taking care of everything for His child Erin and feel the warmth and comfort of the everlasting and steadfast love in which he surrounds you.
